Host Ashley Baylen understands that raising a child and dog are NOT the same at all, but as a professional dog trainer/behavior consultant and a mother, she’s noticed a startling number of similarities. She has applied strategies from her dog training education and experience to parenting with great success and vice versa. From the early days with an infant or puppy dealing with teething, crate or crib training, socialization and language acquisition to nutrition, anxiety, coping mechanisms, independence, confidence building, aggression, consent and more, it’s impossible to deny a crossover.
